Dine-Out at Great Scotts
Great Scott, is this the '50s? No, but it will
certainly look that way the minute you step inside this old-fashioned,
all-American eatery. The décor pays homage to the beloved American diners of the
1940s and 1950s. Jukeboxes, chrome accents, red and white vinyl seats, custom
artwork and period memorabilia.
Patrons are served by a waitstaff dressed '50s-style,
and the menu offers an irresistible lineup of juicy burgers, classic sandwiches
and dinner entrees, as well as soda fountain shakes, malts, sundaes and homemade
pies. Stop by and take a trip down memory lane with Betty Boop or Elvis Presley.
There are even those who claim they've caught sight of Marilyn Monroe and James
Dean sitting at a corner table sharing a banana split.
Please
CLICK HERE to RSVP so we can all be
seated together.

2-for-1 Theater Night: 'Bus Stop'
by William Inge
A story revered by audiences since its Broadway premiere
in 1955, Bus Stop is a funny, touching exploration of the American
Dream. When a snowstorm strands a handful of bus passengers at a Kansas
diner, the colorful, quirky band of travelers discover they have more in common
than the weather raging outside.
Thursdays are 2-for-1 night at The Crossroads Theater,
2590 Washington Street (free covered parking behind the theatre!). Reserve
your tickets now online at
www.paragontheatre.org or by phone at
303-300-2210.
