on Broadway !
First Saturday of each month at
Broadways Bar, 1027 Broadway in Denver. Drink specials for FRB
members are $1 drafts of Bud Light and Coors Light (must show your FRB card)
and $2.50 for non-members, good from 6pm-closing. Prime gathering
time is 8-10pm. Hungry folks can order take-out pizza and wings next
door at Luciano's.

Beer Bust at the Eagle

month, the Denver Eagle offers a free beer bust for FRB members showing their
current-year membership cards between 9 and 11pm.

Dance
Some of
the best sound, lights and sweaty bears in Denver.

us at the Wrangler for Sweet on the 2nd Saturday of every
month. DJ's Jarrad Holbrook and Craig Christiansen begin at 10pm to spin your
favorite nonstop dance tunes. 1700 Logan St in Denver Uptown.

FRB Annual Summer
Picnic
This year
we've combined the summer picnic with a pool party at a single location
in Lakewood, with thanks to Butch & CJ for use of their pool and patio,
as well as neighbors Tom & Al, whose large adjacent lot will accommodate
the picnic dinner itself.
The picnic dinner will be POTLUCK style, served from
1pm to 3pm, and your club will provide grilled entrees.
Members and their invited guests should bring food to share -- salads,
veggie sides, finger foods, casseroles, desserts -- whatever you'd enjoy
sharing.
Non-members must be guests of FRB members -- one guest
per member, please. FRB members attend free; non-member guests are
charged $5 each (one per member!)
PARKING: Street parking will be at Tom & Al's
next door. This is something new for those already familiar with
the location. The address and a map link will be sent in your
Weekly Update email.
Bring your own folding chairs or blankets for seating.
More details will be emailed to members closer to event date.

Another outrageous comedy from Sacha
Baron Cohen. This time he portrays flamboyant Austrian fashionista
'Bruno', subtitled: "Delicious Journeys Through America for the
Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the
Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt."
Exact time unknown, but we will meet for the
nearest showing to 1pm. (Fandango says 12:30, but re-check it or

Renaissance Festival Bear Outing
Renaissance Bears!!! Jeff Stevenson is getting a group together
to go to the Colorado Renaissance Festival on Saturday, July 25.
The weekend's theme is Dance & Music. Enjoy a mix of
Scottish & Irish pleasures... Celtic Musicians, Madrigal
Singers, special Celtic dance groups, musicians and pipe bands
-- featured throughout the Realm this weekend.
The day runs from 10:00am through 6:30pm. If you want
to show up in costume but aren't sure what to wear, let me know by

we will see what we can come up with. I have a limited number of costume
items that work well.
It is recommended that everyone buy their tickets early, as King Soopers has discount tickets available.
(Bring
a little extra money for food and drinks as well as.)
Highlights include jousting, Puke and Snot, Cast in
Bronze, Ded Bob, the Washing Well Wenches and Wild & Thorny with
Iris and Rose. Catch their last show of the day for the
naughty version, including "Roll
Your Leg Over." This can be a fun way to tell who in
the audience is gay and watching for the bears!

OBF Bear Hug at Denver
Swim Club
Come join
the bears for an evening of fun and frolic at the Denver Swim Club
during the Summer Bear Hug. It will be held on Saturday, July 25th
from 7 pm, and sponsored by the Front Range Bears. Admission is
$20.00 for a one day pass or $30.00 for a year's membership.
Lockers are available for $17.00 and rooms for $22.00 in additional to
the entrance fee. Check their website,
