WaterWorld 2009
Here
we go with our biggest summer splash event! All are welcome -- members
& non-members, friends and "family". Anyone signing up in advance
is entitled to a whopping saving with our FRB group rate of $22 per
person.
(Regular admission is $33.95)

Meet at the park between
9:15
and
9:30am
on
event day (Aug1). Event director Mike Moore will get everyone together at
the steps outside the gate at 9:30am to distribute the pre-paid tickets to those who
registered in advance. If you did not register in advance, or if we did not
receive your payment by July 30, the walk-up price is $33.95 and tickets will be
available at the main gate.

responsible for late delivery by USPS.)

Bears
on Broadway !
First Saturday of each month at
Broadways Bar, 1027 Broadway in Denver. Drink specials for FRB
members are $1 drafts of Bud Light and Coors Light (must show your FRB card)
and $2.50 for non-members, good from 6pm-closing. Prime gathering
time is 8-10pm. Hungry folks can order take-out pizza and wings next
door at Luciano's.

First Saturday of each
month, the Denver Eagle offers a free beer bust for FRB members showing their
current-year membership cards between 9 and 11pm.

performance, but we suggest you check on the day of the show for an
update -- we'll shoot for the showing nearest to 12noon at the UA Denver
Pavilions on 16th Street Mall, above Barnes & Noble. (FREE covered
parking in the underground lot. Approach from the Welton Street
side and don't forget to take your parking card into the theater for
validation.)

Come

Beer Bust
to benefit Octobearfest
The Octobearfest Committee will be hosting the Beer Bust at The Wrangler on
Sunday, August 9th, and we are looking for volunteer pourers for the event.
The Beer Bust will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, with pourers needing to be
there by 3:30pm. This Beer Bust will benefit Octobearfest, and you will not
only get a free beer cup, but also be able to earn OBF Bucks for your volunteer
time. We also need a couple of volunteers to help staff the OBF Tent where we
will be distributing information and selling registrations and merchandise. If
you are available to assist with the Beer Bust, please email

nights. Remember we're at 10,000 ft elevation.
Rain gear & insect repellent may be advisable too.
The club will provide:
morning coffee daily, a Friday night keg party, a
complete Saturday night dinner, and a continental
breakfast on Sunday morning.
All other meals and refreshments are the campers'
responsibility.
(The club's grill will
be avbl for
personal use during the day, and there is a Safeway
in nearby Leadville.)
Electricity is available for CPAP-users,
but please provide
your own 50-100 foot extension cord.

The Front Range
Bears welcome everyone to our annual Summer's End Camp-Out, August
20-23.
This year we've moved to a super new site at Turquoise
Lake, in the San Isabel National Forest, just outside historic
Leadville, Colorado, elev.10,438 ft. and only 2 hours west of Denver.

We've reserved two large private group areas at the Printer Boy
Campground. Campsite registrations are limited to 100, and we're
expecting bears from faraway places,

etc)
on the
event pages. Please remember that
