Octobearfest Bear Hug at Denver Swim Club
The Front Range Bears
and the Octobearfest Committee are sponsoring a Bear Hug in
conjunction with Octobearfest 2009. It will be held on
Saturday, October 3rd, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Denver
Swim Club on East Colfax. A special admission price has
been arranged for the event, and it is definitely a deal.
For $20.00, you will received a one-year membership to DSC, a
locker rental, water, and snacks. Ticket can be purchased
through PayPal, and must be picked up at the Octobearfest
registration desk in our event host hotel, Courtyard by
Marriott, at Cherry Creek on So. Colorado Blvd at Arkansas Ave.

Bears
on Broadway !
First Saturday of each month at
Broadways Bar, 1027 Broadway in Denver. Drink specials for FRB
members are $1 drafts of Bud Light and Coors Light (must show your FRB card)
and $2.50 for non-members, good from 6pm-closing. Prime gathering
time is 8-10pm. Hungry folks can order take-out pizza and wings next
door at Luciano's.

FRB Monthly Club Meeting
Nominations for candidates to the Board of Directors close at the
end of today's meeting. Come and meet new members and mingle with the regulars.
Participate in your club's business. Let us know what's on your
mind. Join an activity team and have fun making events happen. We'll
celebrate October birthdays, and of course there will be door
prizes!
