Saturday, Jan 12 4pm		FRB Monthly Club Meeting It's the first meeting of the year! Come and meet new members and mingle with the regulars. We'll kick off with a potluck dinner at 4pm, followed by the club meeting at approx 5pm. The club will provide a main dish for the potluck, and we're asking you to bring a salad, side dish or dessert. We'll celebrate our January birthdays, and of course, there will be door prizes! Location: Park Place Towers, 1029 E. 8th Ave in Denver, in the 15th floor clubroom.

Tuesday, Jan 15 7pm+		Bear Hug at Midtowne Spa 3rd Tuesday every month, Midtowne Spa will be holding an FRB Bear Hug Night. The Midtowne will be advertising this event in the Out Front and on the internet! Come in after 7pm, and be sure to tell all your friends who like bears! Midtowne Spa, 2935 Zuni Street.
Monday, Jan 21 7pm		FRB Book Club The selection for January is Equus By Peter Shaffer. Come join us for our monthly discussion at 7 pm – time and place to be announced soon. Wednesday, Jan 23 6:30pm		Bear Dine-Out at M & D's It’s January, and the Monthly Dine Out returns from its holiday break during the run of the National Western Stock Show. We will meet at one of Denver's premier BBQ establishments. This place is listed under the places to go section of the NWSS information brochure. So maybe the Bears will be lucky to catch a few cowboys hanging at this place. We will meet Wednesday, January 23, at 6:30 p.m. for drinks and conversation, with dinner at about 7:00 p.m. M & D's Bar-B-Que & Fish Palace located at 2004 E 28th Ave in Denver. CLICK HERE to RSVP.
Saturday, Jan 26 7:30pm		Theater Night: "The Lion in Winter" Bear and Troy invite the bears to join them for a night at the theater. The Denver Post is giving rave reviews to the Denver Vic's production of The Lion in Winter. The play, which was the basis for the film starring Peter O'Toole and Katherine Hepburn, is a jolly vehicle for sharp banter and wisecracking repartee in a historic setting. "A riveting and exhilarating evening of theatre...This show is a knock-out!" says Out Front. Sunday, January 27 2:15pm		Movie Club at Neighborhood Flix Movie Club will resume Sunday afternoon, Jan 27. This month's choice is "No Country for Old Men" at 2:15pm, pending no change to movie listings this weekend. Neighborhood Flix Cafe, is located at 2510 East Colfax Avenue, next to the Tattered Cover Bookstore, behind the Twist and Shout record store. Flix is a fun movie-multiplex (http://www.neighborhoodflix.com/index.asp) that also has a nice cafe serving a range of entrees and sandwiches (http://www.neighborhoodflix.com/cafe.asp).
