Mr Front Range Bear BEER BUST On Sunday March 2nd the, our new Mr. Front Range Bear will host the Denver Wrangler's Sunday Beer Bust and will need lots of help pouring. Please come and join the new Mr. FRB 2008 as well as all our other contestants 3:30pm at the Denver Wrangler and join in the FRB Beer Bust spirit by lending a hand. FRB Potluck Dinner and Monthly Club Meeting Come and meet new members and mingle with the regulars. We'll kick off with a potluck dinner at 4pm, followed by the club meeting at approx 5pm. The club will provide a main dish for the potluck, and we're asking you to bring a salad, side dish or dessert. We'll celebrate our March birthdays, and of course, there will be door prizes! Saturday Movie Matinee Let's get together for a weekend matinee performance of The Bank Job. Where: United Artists' Denver Pavillons cinema on 16th St Mall downtown. (Free parking!) Movie time: closest to 1pm (before or after - check on Friday 3/28 for updated showtimes!) Parking: there is free sheltered parking below Pavillions. Parking entrance is on Welton, approaching from 15th St. The cinema has to validate your parking ticket, so be sure to bring it upstairs to the cinema (3rd floor of Pavillions) The Bank Job is inspired by the infamous 1971 Lloyds Bank robbery in London, and stars Jason Statham (Transporter, Snatch, Crank, The Italian Job). It's a craftly, highly-charged heist thriller woven with comedy, plus murder and sexual scandal thrown in for good measure. |
