Bear Coffee at
Illegal Grounds Bear Coffee Night has a new location. Drop in any Thursday between 6:30 and 8:30pm and share some smiles and chat over your favorite coffee, tea or smoothie. We had a good run at Scooter Joe's, but they closed unexpectedly, so we've found a new home with quality brew and good service at Illegal Grounds, 925 E 17th Ave in Uptown Denver. We'll start at the new location on April 3 at 6:30pm, and on April 17th we'll have a special re-launch evening with discount coupons and other specials. Here's a new alternative for socializing during the week, and also to fill a need for a place to gather and enjoy ourselves in a non-bar atmosphere. |

Movie Matinee: "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" If you liked The 40-Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up, then you'll want to join this month's weekend matinee. Part romantic comedy, part disaster film, Forgetting Sarah Marshall is the world's first romantic disaster comedy. It's a comic look at one guy's arduous quest to grow up and get over the heartbreak of being dumped. Read more about the movie at Rotten Tomatoes (CLICK HERE) Where: United Artists' Denver Pavilions cinema on 16th St Mall downtown. When: 4/26, movie time closest to 1pm (before or after - check on Friday 4/25 for updated showtimes!) Free sheltered parking below Pavilions. The parking entrance is near Welton & 15th, approaching from Welton. The cinema has to validate your parking ticket, so be sure to bring it upstairs to the cinema (3rd floor). |
