Annual FRB Picnic in the Park
CLICK HERE FOR COLOR FLYER & FULL DETAILS

This year's picnic will be held in spectacular Golden Gate Canyon State Park, WNW of Golden.  Chris and his committee will throw a full-tilt, old-fashioned summer barbeque picnic for FRB members and their designated guests from 11am til 3pm.
All beverages and food will be provided.  Activities will include a pie-making contest, horseshoes, volleyball and more.  Drawings for great prizes, too!  The park has nature trails and plenty of fresh mountain air to beat the summer heat.
Invitations to RSVP will be e-mailed to all members at the beginning of the month.  Attendance is restricted to FRB members, plus one designated guest per member at no charge.
Parking is an issue (limited to 25 cars) so carpooling will be necessary.  The committee will also provide a bus for up to 55 who RSVP as riders.  A map to the site will only be provided to our carpool drivers.  More details on the logistics are on the special event page (which see.)

Bears are going to the Crossroads Theater for another 2-for-1 Thursday night performance by the Paragon Theater ensemble.  This time it's the regional premiere of an incendiary comedy.
The award-winning and always provocative Neil LaBute is a master at exposing the ugly underbelly of human behavior. In "This Is How It Goes", he tackles racism, adultery and deception with brutal hilarity.
7:30pm at The Crossroads Theater, 2590 Washington Street.  Free covered parking behind the theatre!  Also Light Rail stop.  For more details, and to buy tickets online, CLICK HERE for the Paragon's website and online boxoffice.
