FRB Returns to Water World !
Mike Moore is back as our event wrangler for the FRB August Water World visit this year, and online payments make it easier than ever to join in the fun for the best price!  To get the group rate, we will need a minimum of 15 bears registered in advance.

Prepaid registrations are only $19.95 until Aug 13.
Meet at the park at 9:15am.  Meeting point will be at the bottom of the stairs to the main entrance.  We'll clear all the pre-paid tickets before handling walk-ups.

WW Park hours are 10am – 6pm.
Locker and Tube Rentals available at the park!

WaterWorld is Located
at Pecos St and W 88th Ave

FRB Members, Guests and Friends:
Prepaid registrations
are only
$19.95

until Aug 13th.

(Save $10 off reg. price!)
To pre-pay with
credit or debit card:

The prepay link will be disabled after August 13.
Day of event walk-ups who have not done a prepaid registration can pay Mike $23.95 per person, CASH ONLY, at the meeting point, before park opening.

Since we are allowed a single form of payment to get the group rate, no credit/debit cards or checks will be accepted by Mike on the day of the event.

If you don't prepay in advance, or don't have cash for a walk-up ticket, you will not get the group rate. Regular price is $29.95

REFUND POLICY:
Refunds will be made in the event of weather cancellation or park closure.
Refunds for your pre-paid registrations will otherwise be made only if the 15-bear minimum can still be met without your payment, and only if you advise us before the cutoff day of August 15.

The Ponderosa campsite is
a private group site situated along the St Charles Creek, with tree-covered rolling terrain in a canyon above
Lake Isabel at approximately 8,400 feet.

Site amenities include:  restrooms, trash service, non-potable water, a pavilion with tables, cooking grills, tent sites, volleyball courts and horseshoe pits.
A stocked stream meanders through the site with a footbridge that crosses into the site. Hiking/mountain bike trails start practically from the site;  it's a short drive to jeep trails in the area.
A General Store, Lodge/restaurant, and cabins for rent are located at the Lake for your convenience.

For those that MUST have a shower and a real bed, cabins are available just 1 mile from the campsite.  Call EARLY to get a cabin if you need one. The campsite is approximately a mile away from the cabins.

DIRECTIONS from DENVER
Take I-25 south, past Pueblo CO-165 West (EXIT 74) toward Colorado City/Rye.
Turn RIGHT onto CO-165.
Continue to follow CO-165 west for approximately 18.2 miles.

Then look for signs about camping/picnic area (on left side of road) and follow the road to the very end until you see the FRB banner.
If you actually see the lake before you find the turn off to the campsites, you went too far!  (Turn-off is just before the actual lake.)

We are located in the Ponderosa group campsite.  If there is anyone in the control booth as you enter, just tell them you are with the group renting the group sites and entry should not be charged.

This year we have room for up to 60 campers, but only 28 cars (RV's=2 cars)
Parking is limited,
so please try to carpool
