Time: 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Join fellow book lovers one of the Front Range Bears longest events. Each month on the third Monday, our members meet at a different location and gather to discuss the Book of the Month. Most meetings involve refreshments, a lively discussion, and fellowship. No time to read the book? No problem. Everyone is welcome whether or not you have read the book.
Looking ahead to February, we will be discussing The Life-Writer by David Constantine. “Following the death of her husband, a literary biographer resolves to turn her professional skills to the task of piecing together aspects of his life, in particular, a journey he made years before they met – a hitchhike through France that he had tried to tell her about in the last few hours of his life.” Pick up a copy of the book and find out about his experiences on this journey. I went to Barnes and Noble to pick up a copy and none of their stores had it in stock. I then when to Tattered Cover and they had plenty. I would suggest going there or of course it is available on amazon.com We will gather on Monday, February 20 at 6:30 at
(Please log in for the address or email firstname.lastname@example.org) for our discussion which will begin at 7. The hosts for the evening will be Richard Wilson and David LaRue who selected the book. Light refreshments will be served and as always there will be door prizes. Of course, you are welcome to join us even if you haven’t had the opportunity to read the book. We offer an opportunity for you to socialize with your fellow bears! This will also be our 13th anniversary celebration!
